REALTIME BACK IN ACTION AT SEBRING

Only three more races remain in the 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS season. The next two take place at Sebring International Raceway in Central Florida, a track famous for its storied racing history and infamous for its bumpy race surface. RealTime Racing (RTR) looks to continue its streak of finishing in the top five at each track on the calendar, but also has its sights set on a return to the podium.

Erin Vogel, Driver

“I’m very glad we got to take the NSX out to feel the bumps prior to the event next week. We got a lot of work done and tried a number of setups. Hopefully what we ended up with will be competitive for us when we get to qualifying Saturday morning.

“Fortunately, the NSX has a lot of different spring packages homologated, so we were able to go really soft to compensate for the condition of the track and try to keep the tires on the pavement as much as possible.

“At Sebring, I’d like to see us continue to progress with the setup and move up the order in qualifying so that we have a chance to be truly competitive in the races.”

Michael Cooper, Driver

“Testing at Sebring went really well for the team. We tried a couple different setups to get the car working over the bumps. Half the challenge of Sebring is getting the car working on the rough surface. I think our NSX handles them well, but we will keep tweaking it in practice to see if we can find every little bit of compliance.

“We’re going to be pushing to be upfront. Everyone wants to win but I am very motivated to be back on the top step. There are some cars out there that have championships to think of and I think we can capitalize on that if the opportunity presents itself.”

Peter Cunningham, RTR Team Owner

“We are thrilled to be back at such a legendary circuit as Sebring. RealTime has recorded five World Challenge race wins at Sebring, but we haven’t raced there since 2009. It will be great to see a RealTime machine out there once again vying for more race wins.”
